Dr Caitlin Connolly
BBehavSc, BPsychSc(Hons), PhD
Provisional Psychologist
Experience & approach
Prior to commencing clinical practice, Caitlin was engaged in research at the University of Tasmania and was awarded her PhD in psychology in 2024. Caitlin’s research background has focused on maximising the mental health of those working in high-risk occupations and employment sectors. Caitlin aims to bridge the gap between her research and the clinical space, using evidence-informed interventions to help clients overcome their personal challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Employing a combination of modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Caitlin’s approach aims to enhance existing strengths to foster mental health and wellbeing.
The right fit
Caitlin is passionate about fostering positive outcomes and resilience in individuals faced with challenging events and experiences. She is available to see clients for a range of issues including depressed mood, anxiety, sleep difficulties, stress and interpersonal issues.

She places great value in client-psychologist rapport and seeks to provide an environment that facilitates authenticity and vulnerability (while leaving some room for humour).

Caitlin currently works with adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and over.
On a personal note
Caitlin is our resident adrenaline junkie. On the weekends you will find her rock climbing, whitewater rafting or abseiling off the Organ Pipes of kunanyi.

Just like the rest of the team, Caitlin is a huge animal lover and has fostered over 20 dogs and cats in recent years.
